Family Owned
Chloe and Jude have been friends for ten years and both working in childcare for even longer! They met in Broome, working together at Kimberley Kids Early Learning Centre. In 2020 when Chloe's family relocated to Perth to be closer to family they started thinking about how they could continue working together. When this cute little building in Walliston came up for lease it was too good to be true! They set to work renovating the building, along with their partners Jack & Chris and the end result is this very 'Kimberley Kids' boutique centre with a small town Broome feel in the Hills of Perth. When the Beechboro centre became available they jumped at the chance to be able to offer more families in Perth quality childcare!
Personalised Care
Being a small centre, a family atmosphere is created. Educators and support staff are committed to knowing every child and family personally to enable a closer relationship to each child and better cater for their individual needs.
Experienced and Dedicated Staff
At Banksia Kids we know that the most important factor in our contribution to your child’s happiness and education is the quality of our team. Chloe is a hands on owner and director. To support her we go to great lengths to attract and retain the best educators, with initiatives including flexible packages, extensive training and career development. Our team members hold a range of early childhood teaching degrees, diplomas and certificates in Community Services in accordance with the Department of Community Services regulations. Our team embraces Early Childhood Australia’s Code of Ethics, sharing its central values of respect, social and cultural responsiveness and education.
Indoor & Outdoor Playspaces
The environment at Banksia Kids is inspired by nature and sustainability. Plastic is kept to a minimum and we encourage the upcycling within all environments. All environments have been created with meticulous attention to detail. We use neutral colours throughout the centre and all spaces are designed to be aesthetically pleasing to children and parents alike.
Our outdoor space has fantastic natural shade and a big veranda. Our under cover sandpit allows for all weather play and we have a large open grassed area for endless games. Areas for outdoor rest and relaxation have been created with a day bed outdoor book corner and lots of cumfy cushions.
